Daydreaming...Preen SS14

In the middle of this mid-term madness, my mind can't help itself to drift away from books to upcoming spring and summer. Of course the Vogue homepage pop-up, when I open the Internet, doesn't help me concentrate but I could't have helped myself to take a peak at the major trends of Spring/Summer 2014.

To be honest, until this evening, I've never heard of Preen by Thornton Bregazzi. Turns out, their new collection   (the brand was created by Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi) , is one of my favorite ones from SS14 rtw.
I already mentioned how I love digital prints and this ready-to-wear collection is full of bold graphic prints and colorful florals, which work perfectly with the simplicity and pureness of the white and pastel colors. The asymmetrical slip dresses, T-shaped shirts and transparent materials, worked so well with the futuristic set and music at their show at the London Fashion Week, creating this odd dreamy place. I will definitely keep an eye on their future collections and I can't wait what the relatively young brand has in store for us the next season.

Better get some sleep, I'm going to need it for all the studying. :(

Good night and dream of something nice, in my dreams I might as well be wearing Preen by Thornton Bergazzi!
