My studio apartment renovation

Yaaaay! After four years of high school, I've finally made it to college, which means more responsibility, independence and important choices(haha sure). I started studying graphic and interactive communications in Ljubljana, being super excited for all the new adventures waiting for me, now that I'm all grown up. :P

Living in Ljubljana calls for a new apartment and I feel very lucky that my family owns one. My 26 square m studio apartment dates from the 60's, so a little renovation was inevitable. The decor was 60's alright, but NOT in a good way. I chose the colour white for the most of the furniture since it 'expands' the room and makes it feel really spacious.
As the building was constructed in the pop art era, I took that as an inspiration for decorating it.
After a trip to Ikea(I love those), I decided to compliment white furniture with blue chairs, boxes and bed spread and hang the Warhol inspired pictures on the wall, therefore my palette gradually goes from white to neon pink. The kitchen and bathroom were renovated over  a year ago, so I completed them with a bunch of cute home accessories.

Voila my foldable apartment! :D

My personal staff :D

Of course my new home away from home will get some new additions in the course of time. I already got a lot of ideas that you can check out at my Pinterest page Studio apartment ideas .
