Twinkle, twinkle (little) star

STARS! And fall 2011 ready to wear Dolce& Gabanna collection! I can't remember, when was the last time that I loved the COMPLETE collection... I guess it was Blugirl Fall/Winter 2009/2010, or was it 2008?? Anyway, I fell in love with the star print on the chlothes and with New Year's eve comming up (hopefully this spring weather we have here will last until then and will take care of a verry starry ny's eve :)) I love it how the outstanding designer duo sprinkeled the stars in all sizes and shapes on the black/white garments, or how they made the stars shine even brither on sequined and colorfull transparent materials. I find the idea of mixing a masculin style, which is so huge this season, with stars verry interesting and genial (2nd and 6th picture)- pockets and a collar with golden stars would look good on women AND men and I got to find a cheaper substitute for those amazing starry pants (I'll try to pair it with that too!). I personally just ADORE the golden mini dress...oh, it would make my New Year's evening (and a lot of other nights and days and mornings) sooo perfect :D If somebody wants to make a nice gesture and buy me the dress I'll tell my adress, no doubt! :P

Here I found some afordable pieces who were probablly inspired by this collection. I better go on a star hunt ASAP because that night is getting closer every day ;)

Here's an example of a new year's eve outfit I'd like to wear. A starry Topshop blazer combined with a simple 60's-like Zara jumpsuit and electric blue accesorises- Giuseppe Zanotti clutch, Sergio Rossi pumps (and maybe Zara necklace) 

(of course the Dolce golden dress takes the first place :P )
